Product Description

Brief introduction for kevlar aramid sleeves:
The aramid sleeve is woven from DuPont Kevlar fiber 1414 and has high strength (greater than 25 grams per denier), which is 5-6 times that of steel,
The modulus is 2-3 times that of steel or fiberglass, the toughness is twice that of steel, and the weight is only 1/5 of steel. The temperature range for continuous use is -196. It can operate normally for a long time within the range of C to 204 ºC.
The shrinkage rate at 150 ºC is 0, and it does not decompose or melt at high temperatures of 560 ºC. It has higher heat resistance, good insulation and corrosion resistance, and a long life cycle.
Aramid tubing tape has the following characteristics:
light weight, high strength, high modulus, stable size, low shrinkage rate, puncture resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, good mechanical properties, etc; Widely used in the industrial protection of electrical wires, cables, pipelines, insulation pipes, composite materials, special protective clothing, and electronic equipment.
Kevlar aramid is woven into a sleeve so you can easily make straight or curved pipes with no seams. These Kevlar sleeves will expand in diameter and enlarge the length when pull the ends, diminish in diameter and enlarge the length when push the ends. Kevlar sleeve usually be wrapped on the glass furnace roller to avoid the glass from coming out of the temperature too high, it is easy to explode and scratch when it comes into contact with the cold roller path.
Kevlar carbon fiber sleeve is woven into a tube/sleeve so you can easily make straight or curved pipes with no seams. These sleeves will expand in diameter if the ends are pushed together and also will decrease in diameter if pulled from both ends.
The aramid/Kevlar sleeve is woven with aramid fibers, and the lightweight woven structure makes the product have good scalability and can adapt to the needs of different diameter wire harnesses. The product is a sturdy and lightweight sheath that can be used to prevent cable components, hoses, and harnesses from being worn, cut, and scratched. The product has high heat resistance and is shaped through special processes, with waterproof, oil resistant, and mold resistant properties.
Applications 
1. Conveying cylinders sheathing in the flat glass industry For this specific use, the sleeves prevent the glass from touching the rollers. 
2. They resist to high temperature and prevent from thermal shocks 
3. The aramid sleeves are also used for the sheathing of hose- pipes at high temperature 
4. Used as expansion joints  
5. Used for wicking
6. Used as a protective lining of sliding rollers in tempering furnaces for the flat glass industry.
